H.R. 4959 – Reciprocity and Fairness in Foreign Investment Act 
Turner introduced this legislation that permits a foreign business owned or controlled by a foreign government to acquire ownership in either a business or in real property in the United States, but only to the same extent as that foreign government allows U.S. persons to acquire ownership in comparable enterprises organized under the laws of that foreign country.  (In committee)

HJRes 53 – Constitutional Amendment
Turner cosponsored this legislation proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to provide that Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the number of persons in each State who are citizens of the United States.  (In committee)

H.R. 4480 – America’s Brownfield Cleanup Act (ABC Act)
Turner introduced this legislation to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide tax incentives for the remediation of contaminated sites.  (In committee)

Mike As Mayor
Mike served as Mayor of the City of Dayton from 1994 to 2002.  During his two terms in office Mike balanced the budget every year, invested in economic development, expanded the police force by 54 officers while reducing police response time by nearly 40%, saw construction of new housing units rise 270%, making Dayton the county’s leader in new housing construction, and revitalized downtown with the construction of Fifth Third Field, Riverscape and the Schuster Performing Arts Center.
